The green screen room has been very busy so far this year. Students in all grade levels have been in to make use of this fantastic resource. Here are a few of the projects that have been completed this year.
First grade students used the room to report on caves that they had researched. Second grade students used the room to record commercials for their inventions! Third grade students used the room to report on the history of PomPeii.

This week students who received the "Librarian for the Day" auction item at Clinefest had the opportunity to help Mrs. Lewis and Mr. Ozburn. These students were called up to the front of the room to help teach the lesson. This week's lesson was about using shelf markers and keeping our library shelves 'green light' shelves. At the end of class these students were also responsible for running the computer during checkout time. I appreciated all of their help and I know now that we have many future librarians at Cline!
The students and staff of Cline were honored to welcome Red Grammer to Friendswood on Friday, January 29th. Students enjoyed a fun, engaging performance at school. That evening Red Grammer performed at Friendswood Junior High for the community. All who attended were in for a treat! Red Grammer's songs are uplifting and bring a positive message. Students were even invited up on stage to sing along. We are a bucket filling school and Red Grammer has been a great resource and example of what it means to live each day positively and be the best person you can be. Thank you Red Grammer for visiting Friendswood. Also, thank you to our PTO for hosting this event.
